In part 1 of our series discussing why Yoda's true purpose is to teach Luke and Rey the dark side, I discussed why there must be a role for Yoda in utilizing the great gift given to him by the Force Priestesses in manifesting his consciousness after death in the form of a Force Ghost. Here in part 2, I expand on the topic further and lay out why Yoda, as someone who had dedicated themselves solely to the light during his life, would come to accept the dark side of the Force and then train Luke and Rey to utilize it as well.
