The Non-Canon Expert looks at Darth Sidious's own words within the Legends lore that suggest that Darth Maul was sacrificed by the Sith Lord to the Jedi on Naboo in order to fulfill other more important considerations, explaining what these other considerations were and how this information compares to what we know about the events of The Phantom Menace in other works within Star Wars lore.
